Okay so maybe a bacon shake is not the most appitizing thing I've ever heard of but the sodas that are offered in Japan seem much stranger. There is a new Pepsi product being released called "salty watermelon", I do not see a way that this could seem appealing at all.

I thought this would be an appropriate post with graduation creeping in on the class of 2012! In China, and school's graduating class thought it would be fun to take one last picture in their greaduation attriee, while the dorms were going up in flames behind them. School officals were not too pleased with this photo, but at least this class had a memorable graduation story

This is cute, but still kind of strange. A Nebraska couple who has been married for more than six decades has been matching their outfits for more than 35 years. I guess the key to a good marriage is to dress for success!
This story is not only odd but a little confusing. A Russian millionaire responsible for creating the country's largest social networking site started throwing paper planes made of money, worth almost $160 each, out of his office window. Even though he stopped showering the streets in money because people were getting violent, he said this was not the last time something like this would happen.

This is just disgusting. A 14 year old boy in Michigan found a piece of a finger in an Arby's sandwich. The company called this an "unfortunate incident", and they were apporved to stay open, but I think this calls for a little more punishment then that.

An Austrailian mand decided he wanted to take a half marathon to a whole new level, but running it in a hot air balloon. The runner was doing it for a good cause, raising money and awareness for Heart Disease, but putting a treadmil in a hot air balloon seems a little crazy to me.

A New Jersey tattoo artist attached his iPod to his own body by piercing himself with magnets that will hold to his shuffle. The idea is pretty interesting but the picture of the four magnets logded into his arm is cringe-worthy
http://screen.yahoo.com/elementary-school-misspells-its-own-name-for-9-years-29243739.html

This story is not only odd, but a little alarming. Am elementary school in Fort Worth, Texas has been misspelling it's name for the last nine years. The school was renamed after it's first teacher, Ms. McMillan; They added her last name to the already in place name Sunset Elementary. The school had the Phrase Sunset McMillian printed on countless t-shirts, signs, banners, and even in electronic signatures. It's scary that in a place of education if took nine years for anyone to notice the misspelling of the school's own name.

http://gma.yahoo.com/blogs/abc-blogs/texting-while-walking-banned-jersey-town-152720795--abc-news-topstories.html

This is not only somewhat odd news but local news, being that Fort Lee, NJ is only minutes away from our town. Foort Lee decided to ban texting and walking for safety precautions, which is a completely understandable reason. The more outrageous part is that the pedestrians caught in the act will owe an $85 fine to the town. Fort Lee seems like it may make a pretty penny off of people's technology addictions.

This story about a New Jersey mother who made her daughter go tanning, is not only scary but gives our state an even worse reputation than before. When tenning salons have to hang your picture on the wall to make sure you are not using their facilities is probably when you should lay off the UV rays.
